Valentina leads international recruitment, advancing NYUAD’s goal of a globally diverse student body. She collaborates  with senior leadership to shape long-term strategies, strengthening the university’s global brand and positioning within  the UAE. 

She manages a globally distributed admissions team across the US, Europe, and the UAE, plus an extended network in  Latin America, Africa, Europe, and Central Asia, delivering coordinated, data-informed global recruitment. 

With over a decade in international student recruitment and senior enrollment leadership, Valentina specializes in highly  selective admissions, global mobility, and high-performance team development. Before NYUAD, she was Associate  Registrar and Director of Admissions and Student Recruitment at the University of Toronto, where she led  internationalization initiatives that drove sustained enrollment growth. 

Valentina holds an M.Ed. and an HBA in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto. She is an active  member and frequent speaker in the global international education community on recruitment strategy and the future of  higher education.
