Phil first joined Wellington College to teach Physical Education and Sports Science in 2008, before moving on to take up the position of Director of Sport at Reigate Grammar School.
Returning to Wellington in 2018, Phil became Housemaster of the Hill, a boys’ boarding house, coached 1st XI cricket and led the US Universities programme. Phil was appointed Director of Admissions in 2023 and continues to teach and tutor across the College.
Phil holds a degree in Sports Science from Loughborough University and is an ECB Level 4 accredited cricket coach.
