Our approach is deeply personal because it was built from lived experience. XellED began organically when our founder, Aanchal, guided her own children through highly competitive admissions into leading boarding schools, including Eton College, UK and Wycombe Abbey, UK. Having personally mentored them through every stage of the journey, she developed a nuanced understanding of what top schools are truly looking for and equally importantly, how to identify the right environment for a child to thrive.
Along the way came an important realisation: while admission is a significant milestone, families often need far more than placement alone. Greater guidance could have helped with evaluating school choices more strategically, understanding the emotional realities of becoming international boarding school parents, and navigating unfamiliar learning environments and teacher–student dynamics. These experiences shaped XellED’s philosophy and approach to boarding school advisory services. Our role extends beyond international boarding school placement and admissions support we remain watchful of the wider journey, recognising the anxiety families carry and providing thoughtful guidance well beyond a successful offer.
As other families began seeking her guidance, this naturally evolved into the framework that would become XellED. Since our inception, we have supported several students in securing placements across leading schools in the UAE, the UK, and Switzerland, including Dubai College, JESS, NLCS Dubai, Wellington College, Sevenoaks School, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Aiglon College, Le Rosey, Institut auf dem Rosenberg and La Garenne.
