The programme uses a carefully curated selection of age-appropriate literature, extracts, and passages chosen to engage young readers while introducing them to increasingly sophisticated language, themes, and literary techniques. Rather than focusing solely on complete novels, students also work with carefully selected passages that encourage close reading, discussion, and detailed analysis.
The curriculum is tailored across different age groups, school years, and reading abilities, ensuring that every student is appropriately challenged while building confidence and enjoyment. Our preferred format is small-group classes, where lively discussion, shared perspectives, and collaborative analysis help foster a genuine love of reading. However, we recognise that some children benefit from more personalised support, and individual sessions are available for those who require additional guidance or would thrive in a one-to-one environment.
By exploring a diverse range of engaging texts, students are exposed to different literary styles, voices, and genres while developing stronger analytical reading skills, interpretation, intellectual curiosity, and a lasting appreciation for literature.
